Our M54 / M52TU Oil Pan Baffle for the non-M E46 models keeps oil right where it needs to be - circulating through the engine. In hard driving conditions with high lateral G loads, the engine oil can collect away from the pickup, leaving your engine running at less than optimum oil pressure. This can cause irreversible damage and reduce your engine service life.
The E46 Oil Pan Baffle allows oil to flow one way only - towards your pump pickup. This lets you to do less overfilling of the oil just to maintain pressure, and that keeps excess oil off the crank, which frees up more power.
This item is SpecE46 Legal.
We recommend this for all E46s that see track use and it’s simply a MUST for E46 models that live on the track.
