Vapor honing will give the illusion that your vintage parts have just rolled off the assembly line. Vapor honing, also referred to as wet blasting or vapor blasting, is a finishing process that uses a slurry of various media to clean oil, rust, and other grime off of objects without the use of harsh chemicals and without the threat of heating or warping. Dry ice cleaning
Dry ice cleaning is a premier restoration process with a growing demand within the automotive industry. Ideal for engine bays, undercarriages and fully assembled components, dry ice cleaning easily removes the tough-to-get cosmoline and contaminants from vintage vehicles in an efficient and harmless way. Dry ice cleaning is an eco-friendly process often used in preparation for car shows, restoring a vintage vehicle, winterizing a street or track car, and a variety of other reasons.
vapor honing
Vapor honing is a restoration and refinishing process ideal for use on disassembled parts. Vapor honing, or vapor blasting, is a process which uses a slurry of pressurized media and water expelled through a nozzle intended to decontaminate and/or refinish a substrate. Although vapor honing a part or substrate will result in a more refined-looking finish, this process does no harm to the substrate. Not only can this process return vintage parts to OEM finish, vapor honing will also remove machine marks from a newly machined product resulting in a smoother, more elevated look.
