Tuttle Motorsports, located in Advance, NC, is an independent automotive service, restoration and race shop specializing in premiere restoration processes, road course race builds, and maintenance on European vehicles including BMW, MINI, Audi, VW, Porsche, and Mercedes-Benz.
We are seeking a skilled European automotive technician to join our growing team on a full-time basis. As a technician in our shop, you will be responsible for providing top-notch maintenance and repair services for a variety of European vehicle makes and models (both modern & vintage). Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure that our clients' vehicles are serviced to the highest standards.
The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
Possess a strong background in European automotive maintenance and repair, with a deep understanding of European vehicle systems, components, and diagnostic procedures. Familiarity with various European brands, such as BMW, MINI, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, or others, is highly desirable
Hold relevant certifications such as ASE certifications or manufacturer-specific training for European vehicles. Additional certifications or qualifications are a plus
Exhibit a meticulous approach to work, paying close attention to details and ensuring that repairs and maintenance tasks are executed accurately
An open-minded attitude with a willingness to learn, problem-solve, and do what it takes to get the job done correctly
Ability to work as part of a team and periodically complete tasks outside typical job description
Excellent communication skills
Have a working knowledge of current industry best practices
Uphold high ethical standards, displaying honesty, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions with customers, team members, and suppliers
Must provide your own tools, tool box, etc. commensurate with skill level
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive inspections of European vehicles to assess their condition, identify potential problems, and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance
Efficiently and accurately execute complex repairs and preventative routine maintenance tasks assigned to you, following manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices
Document all work completed on corresponding work orders
Maintain a clean and organized work space
Report to work on time (Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30)
Work closely with General Manager and collaborate with other shop personnel to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of repairs. Share knowledge and provide assistance when needed.

Requirements
Valid driver’s license
High School diploma or equivalent
ASE Certification (Preferred, not required)
Previous experience at dealership or independent shop
This is an onsite position
Not necessary, but ideal:
Experience with vintage BMW, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz
Interest in road course racing
Experience with diesel engines
Physical Demands
Walking, standing, bending, kneeling, etc. for extended periods of time
Must have ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
